In this series silkscreen prints, dumplings are used as a sexual metaphor of a woman’s body. The red threads sewed into the paper symbolizes factors that women are taken advantages of both physically and mentally in the contemporary society.

Red, the color of blood, shows the pain of being oppressed. The thinness of. the threads is often invisible to most people’s eyes. By presenting it on white paper, it reminds people of this often overlooked issue and the consistent suffer.
