This white book call CONFESSION is in respond to the questions asked in the previous 25-question installation. Hearing the story of my grandfather introspecting and apologizing to family members before his passing, I designed this book content with inner thoughts which I usually don’t want talk about in a social situations.

White, usually considered as blank is the only color used in the book. It is used as a metaphor that these are the unspoken words. Instead of being printed, the letter are laser cut and pasted onto the pages. In East Asian culture, words are often implied instead of directly spoken. White, similar to black, also has a meaning of death in Japanese culture. Different from being dead forever, white emphasis on the rebirth after death. For example, a bride wearing a white wedding dress suggests that she dies from her original family and reborn into a new family. 

Everyone may lives in the present with an indescribable mood of the past. The confession book creates an exist for the person to truly face the past, after the confessions, move on to the future as a new person.
